Leather and lace is the whole idea. The part of you that is tender and the part that is not, sitting in one frame without apologizing for either.

Loretto Mansion gives us the room for it. Old bones, good light, and enough corners that every setup feels like a different world.

How the night runs

No time slots. Come when you can.

Arrive

Doors at 5:00 PM on the night you chose. Come whenever suits you, it runs until 9:00 PM.

Get in line

Sessions are first come, first serve. You get in line when you arrive, and again for glam if you added it.

Shoot

Ten minutes in front of the camera, fully directed, across three setups.

Your reveal

We schedule a reveal after the event where you choose your image and can add more if you want them.

Hair and makeup at the Ladies Night event

Let someone else do your face.

Glam is an add-on at $50. Tessa Butz of Beauty by Butz handles hair and makeup on site, and there is nothing quite like sitting in that chair and letting go of it for twenty minutes.

If you would rather come camera ready, that is completely fine too. Plenty of women do.

One ticket, one night

$45

Includes your mini session and one finished digital image. Pick your night at checkout, September 11 or September 14. You only come to one.

If something comes up, you can switch to the other night or pass your ticket to a friend. Sessions are first come, first serve.

Questions

The things women ask first.

I have never done anything like this. Will I be okay?
Yes. Most women who come have never been photographed like this before. You are directed the entire time, and the room is full of people in exactly the same position.
What should I wear?
Anything that fits leather and lace and makes you feel like yourself. There is a mood board to work from, and the client closet is available if you would rather borrow something.
Can I come alone?
Absolutely, and plenty do. Women arrive alone and leave having made friends with the person who was in line next to them.
Do I get to see the photos that night?
Not that night. We schedule a reveal afterward where you sit down, see everything, and choose the image included with your ticket. You can add more if you want them, with nothing required.
What if I cannot make my night?
Reach out and we will move you to the other night. Tickets are also transferable, so you can hand it to a friend if neither works.
Where is Loretto Mansion and where do I park?
Loretto Mansion, 190 Peppers Ferry Rd, Wytheville, VA 24382. Park in the designated area on the lawn to the left of the house.
